Bread and Butter Pudding

Ingredients
Bread mixture:
Old bread: 1/4 loaf homemade bread
1/2 cup milk poured over
Leave in fridge for a day or two
1/2 loaf sliced toast sliced
60g butter, melted
Strawberries or blueberries (chopped)
Almonds, chopped
Custard mixture:
150ml cream
150ml milk
1 egg
5 tablespoons sugar or honey
Directions
Put bread mixture into greased dish
Pour over 60g (two ounces) melted butter
Toss with chopped almonds and chopped strawbs or blueberries.
Make a custard with 300ml half and half cream and milk, 1 egg beaten. 5 tablespoons sugar or honey. Beat up together, pour gently over mixture,
Bake for 1/2 to 3/4 hour in moderate oven.
If starts to brown too much, put tinfoil over, then remove 5 min before coming out of oven.
